Please call me Robert. I am a sensitive person who arrived on this planet with the ability
to perceive multi-dimensionally in the moment. My calling is to heal. My mission
is to work together with DJ to restore your core health as rapidly as possible,
gently and permanently, according to the scientific principles of natural and
safe healing methods which address, lovingly and harmoniously, every level of
My preference is to say I practice Restorative Medicine blending
my multi-level experiences to provide uniquely individualized patient care and education.
I honor the subtle principles of nature and teach patients to take responsibility for their uniqueness whether treating patients for flu with homeopathy, counseling them through a life crisis, relieving them of chest pain with an osteopathic adjustment of a dislocated rib, advising them nutritionally, or normalizing menopause hormone function with bioidentical hormones.
My unique composite of medical services blends the best aspects of
conventional medicinal practice with the principles of classical homeopathy, cranial osteopathy, nutrition, and bioidentical hormone
balancing. My understanding of health and disease coupled with my compassion for human suffering allows me to focus on prevention and whole-body healing using my skills with the drugless treatment of acute and chronic disease. I know how to help people get well in the safest way and shortest time possible without causing harm. By the way, I am also a medical doctor with licenses to practice medicine in Washington, Texas, California, and Michigan.
I completed my medical studies at The University of Michigan Medical School in 1969, and served as a general medical and emergency room physician from 1970 to 1972. My conventional medical practice from 1970 to 1976 included minor surgery and the delivery of about 400 babies.
Studies in homeopathy, cranial osteopathy, nutrition, and bioidentical hormone
balancing complemented my medical training. My passion is to understand and treat the whole person. The intuitive part of medical care comes naturally to me.
My homeopathic family practice began in 1974 and I completed several homeopathic apprenticeships with the late Dr Jost Künzli who was a world renowned homeopathic physician in Switzerland. I organized several national homeopathic conferences, and presented papers at several national and two international homeopathic conferences.
In 1983 I learned Cranial Osteopathy from the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation and, during the subsequent four years, participated in their professional osteopathic study group in Dallas, Texas.
From 1997 to 2006, while continuing with my homeopathic and osteopathic medical practice, I honed my conventional medical skills as a diagnostic physician at the Department of Veterans Affairs
In 2004 I began my studies with Dr Diana Schwarzbein and became certified as a Schwarzbein Level I and Level II (HBT) practitioner. Now my practice includes a broader understanding of basic nutrition and bioidentical hormone
I have been a member of the American Institute of Homeopathy since 1975, a past president of the California State Homeopathic Medical Society, and, from 1980 to 1985, editor of Homeotherapy an international homeopathic journal. I was Board Certified in Family Practice from 1978 to 1990 and remain Board Certified in Homeopathy.
Thankfully, my early experience in medical practice was in a small town without sophisticated medical services. I learned early in my career to trust my intuition and powers of observation. This taught me how to individualize every patient’s treatment.
